Effie Bowen is a dance artist from North Carolina and based in New York. Since graduating from Hollins University with a BA/BFA in dance she has shown work in New York, Philadelphia, Paris, and Berlin and has written about art and performance for BOMB, Interview Magazine and the Movement Research Performance Journal.
