Tagged in 2010 by the New York Times T-Magazine in its Nifty 50, a list of the country’s up-and-coming talent, when he was just 30 years old, artist Leidy Churchman has since shown his paintings, sculptures, and films at Silberkuppe (Berlin), Horton Gallery (New York), Murray Guy (New York), Human Resources (Los Angeles), and elsewhere. The Field (aka Monte Cristo) (2013) shows the artist’s preoccupation with the slow reveal.
