CALIBRATE: Public Flower Knitting Circle with Romy Aura Maloon

Free and Open to the Public.
Artist Romy Aura Maloon has been selected to create a public art work for Elevate Atlanta, City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs’ downtown initiative to exhibit contemporary public art in October 2014.
The Contemporary will host these public volunteer experiences to help Romy bring this great project to fruition through community involvement. Romy will be in attendance to will give a brief overview of the project. She will walk participants through the process of creating the panels which will eventually wrap an entire building in artificial flowers! Join us in this fun art making experience.
Pizza and sodas will be served.
