Contemporary Talks: Deborah Kass

Painter Deborah Kass uses appropriation as her primary mode of working. She is known for applying Andy Warhol’s technical and stylistic language to subjects that examine her own personal and cultural interests, including ethnicity, sexuality, art, music, and literature. Her work is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The Jewish Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, New Orleans Museum of Art, among others. Join us to hear her talk about her work.
