Exhibitions and programs that happen outside of the galleries are an attempt to remain open – open to artists and open to ideas. These are spaces to play, to experiment, and to bring contemporary art outside of the museum and into Atlanta’s neighborhoods.

These exhibitions and programs help new audiences connect with Atlanta Contemporary and allow us to instantaneously respond to artists, to contemporary issues, and to our community. Here we are able to operate at a more accelerated pace (with exhibitions lasting a night, a week, a month) and special events for one-night-only. Contemporary Off-Site considers new ideas, supports risk taking, and educational presentations getting artists and patrons off campus and outside of the established traditions of Atlanta Contemporary.
