Join us in welcoming artist and educator Sherrice Adams for our first adult craft night, Crafts + Cocktails. Sherrice will be leading guests with a project using a variety of objects, paint, and paper based on our current exhibitions on view.


Visitors are invited to view the exhibitions throughout the evening while stopping by the bar for a custom cocktail crafted by our current mixologist in residence. Craft materials will be provided by Atlanta Contemporary. Crafts + Cocktails is open to all ages. You must be 21+ to drink.


Atlanta Contemporary is located at 535 Means Street, Atlanta, GA 30318.
Parking is free in the lot at Bankhead & Means Street (Google Maps Location). You can access the lot via Bankhead Avenue and proceed past the parking attendant booth.

Bio

Sherrice Adams

As an artist and educator, Sherrice embodies a multifaceted approach to creativity, blending her passion for visual art with a dedication to nurturing the next generation of artists. With a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Illustration and a Master’s in Art Education, she possesses a deep understanding of both the craft and pedagogy of art.

Sherrice embarked on her artistic journey as a freelance artist in 2009, honing her skills in pencil, digital design, book illustration, and painting. Her diverse skill set allowed her to seamlessly transition into the realm of education, where she now serves as a dedicated art teacher at a public high school.

In her role, she brings innovation, creativity, and experimentation to the classroom, utilizing her expertise to inspire and empower her students. She also serves as her school’s in-house Graphic Designer and Webmaster, leveraging her technical expertise to elevate the institution’s visual identity and online presence.
