John Dierre

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, John Dierre is a cinematic artist on a mission to create films that are based in community, while also showcasing stories and documenting moments that help question certain perceptions. With his intuitive sense of direction and honest use of the camera, he hopes to reveal the essence of his subjects to then engage audiences with fresh messaging, emotion, rhythm, and color. The mission reigns in creating, supporting, and helping others bring their worlds of Blackness to life while challenging and pushing the film medium forward.
