Atlanta Contemporary is pleased to announce the third and final installment of the Nexus Fund.

Beginning in 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nexus Fund provides cash grants to both individual artists and artist-run projects existing within the Metro Atlanta area. Generously funded by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Arts, the Nexus Fund has already distributed $120,000 to Atlanta artists and this third installment will raise that amount to $180,000.

The Nexus Fund is composed of two arms: the Emergency Relief fund, and the Regional Regranting Program. The Emergency Relief fund, in this installment, provide $500 cash grants to 20 individual artists who have experienced hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Regional Regranting Program will distribute $5,000 cash grants to 10 artist-run projects engaging with and benefiting Atlanta communities.
