Join us for an artist talk and scream sessions with Whitney Bradshaw, creator of OUTCRY

Bradshaw initiated this intersectional feminist social practice project the night of the Women’s March in 2018. Since then, she has photographed over 400 womxn in an effort to provide them with a brave space in which they can practice speaking up and out for themselves while taking up space, being heard, supported, and encouraged by a strong community of womxn. When seen together these powerful portraits become a monumental act of collective resistance.

From 12-1pm, Bradshaw will discuss her project and practice. This artist talk is open to the public; register online.

The OUTCRY scream session will be held from 1-3:30pm pm. The resulting portraits will be printed and included in future iterations of OUTCRY.  Scream session slots are limited and participants must register; click here to register and complete the model release form.

All participants will be required to sign a model release form prior to the session allowing Whitney to use their portrait in future iterations of Outcry including accompanying press, publications, and the like.
