Sydney is a 500hr-RYT with 8 years of experience and a continuing education provider through the Yoga Alliance. Through yoga, Sydney was able to discover a holistic embrace for mind and body. Her journey grew into a passion for teaching and the exploration of yogic knowledge. There can be a tendency to think about the product of your practice rather than the process. We kick off the new year with a performance art event with Allen Peterson and Friends in which crews of sculptors melt scrap iron and pour it into reusable molds to form bird-sized honeybee forms. Like puppets, these bees “fly” through the night in formations inspired by the dance-based language honeybees use to communicate and cooperate inside the hive.
