Gospel I

Influenced by the southern mysticism and Christian overtones of the American south, Gospel-l is an effort to see good and hope in all that is.

In response to the fire and brimstone of Christian fundamentalism, this installation seeks to support wayward individuals. Not in blame tossing, shame, or didactic providing answers but in revealing personal truth, an ultimate truth.

The ultimate truth could be in justice, a new identity, or a future of possibilities. However, the only truth is within the act of seeking and reckoning with that there could be no answers, only more questions.
