Aineki Traverso
Aineki Traverso (b. 1991) is a painter based in Atlanta, GA. Aineki graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2013 with a concentration in film theory. Her work has most recently been exhibited in spaces such as Swan Coach House Gallery, Johnson Lowe, Whitespace, Tiger Strikes Asteroid, and Swivel. Aineki has attended residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts, VCCA, and R&F Handmade Paints. She is a recent grant recipient of the Edge Award from the Forward Arts Foundation, the Susan Antinori Visual Artist Grant from Idea Capital, and the Nexus Fund.
