Anthony Francis is a photographic artist whose work considers portraiture, love, and lesser politics. His inquiry is a yearning for gathering while critiquing the way his own intentions fall short in the practice of a flawed apparatus. He received his MFA from the Academy of Art University and has exhibited nationally and abroad in spaces such as the McNay Museum. He has also delivered talks and presentations on photographic topics such as Black Portraitures in South Africa.
