Catharine Mastin is an independent scholar, writer and curator and former Executive Director of the Art Gallery of Windsor. She holds a PhD in Women’s History from the University of Alberta, Edmonton and degrees in art, design, architectural history and Canadian art from York University, Toronto. She has curated more than 100 exhibitions since embarking on a curatorial path in the 1990s. Among her writing achievements include award-winning publications for exhibitions include Brenda Francis Pelkey (2017), Mary Pratt (2012), The Group of Seven in Western Canada (2002), Wyndham Lewis in Canada (1992).
