Jake Troyli

Jake Troyli (b. 1990, lives in Tampa) received his BFA from Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate, TN (2013) and his MFA from the University of South Florida, Tampa (2019). He also attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in the summer of 2019. His solo exhibitions include Awkward Handshake, Tempus Projects, Tampa, FL (2018) and Always leave them wanting more!, ArtsXchange, Saint Petersburg, FL (2018). Troyli has been awarded a Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center Fellowship for the 2019-2020 season, was an ACRE resident in Steuben, WI (2018), and received a Creative Pinellas Emerging Artist Grant, Largo, FL (2017). His work has been in numerous group exhibitions, including Show Me Yours, Monique Meloche Gallery, Chicago, IL (2019), Malmö Sessions, Carl Kostyál Gallery, Malmö, SE (2019), Extra Butter, Contemporary Art Museum, Tampa, FL (2019); XL Catlin Art Prize, San Francisco Art Institute, CA (2018); and Secret Garden, Henao Contemporary Center, Orlando, FL (2018).
