Jeff Crompton

Saxophonist and composer Jeff Crompton has been performing original music for 40 years. He has played with Mike Baggetta, Michael J. Smith, Davey Williams, Rev. Fred Lane, Eugene Chadbourne, and with Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Current projects include a duo with cellist Benjamin Shirley, RoboCromp with guitarist Rob Rushin-Knopf, the ambient duo Anagrams, and Relay Station, Crompton’s “song project.” He has an extensive catalog of recordings, and recently presented his chamber opera Buddy Bolden in Atlanta.
