LaDonna Smith

LaDonna Smith, violinist, violist, and pioneer of free improvisation in America since 1970’s, toured the world from USA to Europe to China, Japan, Korea and Siberia. She was editor & producer of the improvisor, the international journal of free improvisation from 1980-2010, a publication whose mission was to connect musicians across the medium. She served on the Board of the International Society of Improvised Music, www.isimprov.org, believes the mind, body, spirit & poetic connection is the basis of her work.
