Manty Dey is a visual artist working in Atlanta, Georgia. She received a BFA in painting and drawing from Georgia State University and an MFA from the University of Georgia. Dey’s work has been exhibited at MOCA GA, Georgia Museum of Art, Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences, and Lyndon House Art Center. She has been awarded residencies at Vermont Studio Center and The Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences. She creates sculptural paintings by altering the surface through cutting, draping, and mending.
