Mike Zarin

Starting out as a club DJ in his late teens, Mike found his passion in playing house music at midtown clubs before he was old enough to get in. He later went on to host the long running Houseworks radio show on 88.5 FM and play his own shows with his DJ crew 4Deep. Over the years he brought many house heavyweights to Atlanta. Beyond the house scene, Mike has worked with restaurants, hotels and boutiques as well as with executive global brands to create memorable experiences and events for guests from all around the globe. More recently, in collaboration with the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, Mike launched Atlanta Streets Alive Radio - a live radio broadcast that airs during each Atlanta Streets Alive. Mike now enjoys playing longer sets, incorporating music from near and far, old and new, all guaranteed to make your body move. His record collection spans 60+ years and features everything from Hard Bop to Hip Hop. For GIFC, Mike will be sharing some of his favorite “dollar bin” jams from his collection to showcase great tunes that he “got for cheap.
