Nuni Lee is a practicing visual artist and an art instructor at the Ernest G. Welch School at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. South Korean in ethnicity, born in Bogota, Colombia, and living in Atlanta, Nuni Lee is a visual artist who embodies complexity. Lee received a BFA in Painting from Cornell University in 2012 and an MFA in Drawing and Painting at GSU in 2018. She is best known for her work involving a central character, Good Girl, who reflects the artist. With the help of the Good Girl, Nuni weaves together her past, present, and future, hoping to share her memories, emotions, and dreams with the audience. Lee has exhibited at venues including the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse (Miami, FL), Olive Tjaden Gallery (Ithaca, NY), A Different Path Gallery (Brockport, NY), SOUP Experimental (Tallahassee, FL), Abernathy Arts Center (Sandy Springs, GA), Welch School Gallery (Atlanta, GA), Callanwolde Gallery (Atlanta, GA), Mary S. Byrd Gallery (Augusta, GA), Thomas Deans Fine Art Gallery (Atlanta, GA), Swan Coach House Gallery (Atlanta, GA), and Aqua Art Fair (Miami, FL).
