Trip Sandifer is a lifelong hospitalitarian, beginning his career in the industry as a cook in 1998 and working in various positions before becoming a bartender in 2011. He attended art school at the Savannah College of Art and Design and culinary school at Chattahoochee Technical College and credits both as being instrumental in developing his approach to the flavor and design of cocktails. No less important was his training in wine and spirits under the tutelage of Justin Amick at The Spence where Trip obtained his Certified Sommelier, Certified Specialist of Spirits, and Certified Specialist of Wine. In 2014, Justin opened The Painted Pin and tapped Trip as his Bar Manager. With the opening of The Painted Duck in 2017, Trip currently serves as the Corporate Bar Manager for Painted Hospitality overseeing both beverage programs.
