Join us for a conversation with Gracie DeVito and Andy Giannakakis, the artists currently on view in Contemporary On-Site. Contemporary On-Site was curated by Tif Sigfrids, who will be joining the conversation to talk about the artists’ work and concepts behind the show. This talk will be led by Atlanta Contemporary’s executive director, Veronica Kessenich.

Bios

Tif Sigfrids

Tif Sigfrids is a gallerist based in Athens, Georgia. She received her BFA from UCLA in 2005 and has organized numerous exhibitions, performances, and lectures at galleries, non-profit art spaces, and Universities. Her eponymous gallery opened in Los Angeles in 2013 and relocated to Athens in 2018. Exhibitions have been reviewed in Artforum, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, New York Magazine, and numerous other publications.

Gracie DeVito

Gracie DeVito (B. 1985, Los Angeles, California) lives and works in Los Angeles. She received her MFA from Cal Arts in 2012. Her work was the subject of a recent solo exhibition at Overduin and Co and has been reviewed in Artforum, The New York Times, and numerous other publications.

Andy Giannakakis

Andy Giannakakis (B. 1988 Valdosta, Georgia) lives and works in Los Angeles. He has a BFA from the University of Georgia and received his MFA from RISD in 2015. His recent solo exhibition at Park View was reviewed in the Los Angeles Times.
