Dr. Nicole Cabrera Salazar

Dr. Nicole Cabrera Salazar is a Latina astronomer who is passionate about social justice in science and technology. After creating multiple initiatives in graduate school for marginalized students, she decided to shift her career away from research to focus on changing the culture of STEM through her company Movement Consulting. Nicole is also a dedicated mentor, helping Black and Brown scientists uncover their full potential. Movement Consulting is a social innovation company disrupting science and technology by empowering marginalized people to be their whole authentic selves. We partner with universities, research institutions, and tech companies who are committed to supporting marginalized scientists but may not know where to start. Rather than focus on diversity and inclusion in STEM, we believe that we have a responsibility to integrate marginalized people’s stories, traditional knowledge and values, and their ways of being and doing science.

Sydia Bell

Sydia Bell is a self-care practitioner, life skills educator, and wellness guide, on a mission to inspire and support personal growth. She is also the founder of The Everyday Creative, a lifestyle studio dedicated to helping design personal care systems by illuminating the small habits that create the most meaningful changes in everyday life. Using observation, conversation, strategy, and a nice size portion of creativity, she provides self-care guidance, personal coaching, life skills sessions, and tangible tools that will help establish the roots of your lifestyle. From daily rituals and habits to how you cope with stress, you’ll learn how to nurture yourself in practical ways, so you are always growing with purpose and perspective.
