Atlanta Contemporary welcomes a local bartender to become the Mixologist-in-Residence – here we invite the purveyors of Atlanta’s cocktail culture to share their story – over a finely crafted drink – with our audiences.

Mixologist-in-Residence Erika Moore presents a cocktail you can make at home! Click here to watch Erika’s video on how to make a Quarantine Cocktail.

Quarantine Cocktail

This is super easy and you can find just about all these ingredients in your pantry! Creating a cocktail that consists of immune boosters is a super fun activity to engage in during this time, plus it’s healthier then the every day cocktails we consume.

This cocktail is balanced with sweetness, citrus, spice, bitter, and we can’t forget about the little kick from the apple cider vinegar! We hope you try your own version of this.

Ingredients:
2 oz Whiskey
.5 oz Lemon juice
Dash Apple cider vinegar
.75 oz Honey and ginger juice*
3+ dashes Angostura bitters

*Note: if you can’t juice your ginger, you can make a ginger honey syrup by boiling ginger chunks in 1/2 cup of water for a few min then adding 1/2 to 3/4 cups of honey!
