Emma Chammah
Emma (Emmanuelle) Chammah is a sculptor and designer based in Atlanta, GA. She earned a Master of Architecture from Tulane University in 2007. In 2008, her wearable art pieces won 3rd place at the Baton Rouge Wearable Art show and officially marked the beginning of her art practice. She went on to work in Louisiana, New York and California for agencies in architecture, fabrication, theater, fashion and Public/Community Art. Starting in 2009 until 2011, she co-produced art shows and exhibits with Chimera+, a curatorial practice based in Brooklyn, NY. Currently, Emma continues her radical use of fabric in many forms including wearables, tapestries, and sculptures.
