Löris (Luh·ris) McIntosh, is a multiethnic interdisciplinary choreographer based in metro-Atlanta. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University, where she discovered her passion for choreography as a minor in Dance and Movement Studies. Mentored by Anna Leo, Löris honed her skills in ballet, modern, and choreographic process.

She was awarded the Sally A. Radell “Friends of Dance” Scholarship in 2014, allowing her to attend a transformative dance intensive in Sorrento, Italy, studying under Jennifer Salk, Gavriel Spitzer, and George Staib.

Post-grad, Löris served as a teaching artist for Moving in the Spirit, a nonprofit organization focused on youth development through dance education. Currently, Löris works as a lead consultant for AArete, a prominent global management and technology consulting firm, overseeing healthcare-related projects.

She has been selected as a featured artist for events hosted by Emory Dance Company, Fall for Fall Dance Festival, Dance Canvas’ “The Palette Project” and Old Fourth Ward’s “54 Columns Art Activation.”

Guided by the mantra “Feed Your Soul,” Löris aims to consistently produce project-based work that center themes of catharsis, self-actualization and metamorphosis. Löris aspires to give back to her community through art activation and plans to establish her own dance retreat program, providing a nurturing and inspiring environment for fellow artists to grow.
