Past Exhibitions
Originally founded as "Nexus" in 1973, Atlanta Contemporary started as a grassroots artists collective. We were home to Nexus Press, former producers and publishers of experimental artists's books that are still held in major collections throughout the world. The early 00's brought about the end of Nexus Press, and our emergence as the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center. Today, Atlanta Contemporary continues to present programs and exhibits that "Change The Way We Think About Art".
